My Hero Academia: First appearance in 7 years as "Shigaraki" by Koki Uchiyama as trailer narrator Special edition "Tomura Shigaraki: Destruction" trailer and new cuts released

The trailer for "Tomura Shigaraki: Destruction", the fourth installment of the special edition "My Hero Academia Memories" of the TV anime "My Hero Academia", has been released on YouTube. The episode focuses on the most ferocious villain, Tomura Shigaraki, and the trailer features Shigaraki, played by Koki Uchiyama, as the narrator. This is the first time Shigaraki has narrated a trailer in about seven years, since episode 28 of the second season aired in 2017. New scenes from the episode have also been released. It will air on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV from 5:30 pm on April 27th.

"My Hero Academia Memories" is a special edition in response to the seventh season of the TV anime beginning airing on May 4th, every Saturday at 5:30 pm. It adds new scenes to important episodes from the story so far that lead into the seventh season, and has been airing for four weeks since April 6th.

"My Hero Academia" began serialization in July 2014 in "Weekly Shonen Jump." Set in a world where about 80% of the population has supernatural powers and quirks, the story follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2016, the second season from March to September 2017, the third season from April to September 2018, the fourth season from October 2019 to April 2020, the fifth season from March to September 2021, and the sixth season from October 2022 to March 2023. The new anime film "My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Your Next" will be released on August 2nd.
