ONE PIECE: Hollywood live-action sequel production, Chopper included!?

It has been announced that a sequel to the Hollywood live-action drama series based on the popular manga ``ONE PIECE'' will be produced. The series will be distributed exclusively worldwide on Netflix on August 31st. It has become a hot topic, ranking first in the weekly global top 10 of English series works, and reaching the top 10 in 93 countries around the world, including Japan.

A special video in which the original author, Eiichiro Oda, announces the production of a sequel was released on YouTube, saying, ``Two weeks have passed since the release. Very good news has arrived! Netflix has decided to produce a sequel! Inaki (Luffy) The adventures of the live-action version of the Straw Hat Pirates continue! It will take some time until the script is completed, so please be patient." In the video, Oda says, ``Now, from now on...I feel like the Straw Hat Pirates will need an excellent 'ship doctor'...Please look forward to it!'' It also includes drawings of Tony Tony Chopper.

The live-action drama was produced by Hollywood's Tomorrow Studios, which also produces dramas such as ``Cowboy Bebop'' and ``Snowpiercer,'' with original author Oda participating as an executive producer. Matt Owens, who worked on ``Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'' and Netflix's Marvel drama series, and Stephen Maeda, who worked on ``LOST,'' are in charge of the script. 

Inaki Godoy plays Luffy, Mackenyu Arata plays Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
