In "The Shore's Fiance," Ryunosuke's father buys a deserted island, and Ataru and his friends go to a beach teahouse that he runs on the island. There, a ghost who calls herself Ryunosuke's fiance appears. In "The Fairy's Parasol," when Ten looks into a puddle, a fairy who "makes children's dreams come true" appears from the surface. The fairy asks, "Please find an important parasol that I lost."

``Urusei Yatsura'' is one of the masterpieces of Takahashi, who is also known for `` Maison Ikkoku,'' ``Ranma 1/2,'' and ``Inuyasha.'' Takahashi made her debut with ``Katte na Yatsura'' in 1978, and ``Urusei Yatsura'' was serialized in ``Weekly Shonen Sunday'' (Shogakukan) from 1978 to 1987. The story depicts the daily lives of Ataru Moroboshi, a high school student, and Lum, a demon girl who came to Earth. The TV anime was broadcast on Fuji TV from October 1981 to March 1986.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Shogakukan, which publishes the work, the new anime will be made into a TV anime in four cours, with selected episodes from the original work. Directed by Hideya Takahashi and Yasuhiro Kimura, who worked on `` JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE : Golden Wind,'' and produced by David Production. The first season was broadcast in two cours from October 2022. The second season has been airing since January.
