It has been announced that JR Central will collaborate with the all-new TV anime adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's popular manga "Urusei Yatsura." Visuals depicting Lum and Ataru Moroboshi dressed as station staff have been released. The theme of the collaboration is "Lum and Ataru playing tag," and while on board the Tokaido Shinkansen train, you can listen to a newly recorded voice drama by a star-studded cast including Hiroshi Kamiya who plays Ataru and Sumire Uesaka who plays Lum. The collaboration will run from May 31st to June 30th.

The voice drama can be listened to on a special website when the Tokaido Shinkansen train reaches a certain speed while in motion. A quiz will be held where the correct answer can be found by listening to the voice drama, and limited collaboration goods will also be sold. After listening to the voice drama, if you go to a participating Animate store along the line or the nearest station to the Shinkansen, you can listen to an epilogue voice that reveals the ending of the game of tag.
