Detective Conan: One million dollar guidepost: Box office gross exceeds 3.35 billion yen in the first three days of release, attracting 2.27 million viewers, the highest start in the series' history

The latest movie version of the popular anime "Detective Conan", "Detective Conan: One million dollar guidepost", was released in 515 theaters on April 12th, and it was revealed that the box office revenue exceeded 3.35 billion yen in 3 days. The number of spectators exceeded 2.27 million. The box office revenue in the three days since its release is about 106.5% of the previous film, "Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine", which recorded the highest box office revenue of any film in the series (about 13.88 billion yen). This is the best start in the series' history.

"One million dollar guidepost" begins with a warning letter from Kaito Kid arriving at the storage facility of the Onoe Zaibatsu in Hakodate, Hokkaido. Kid is after a Japanese sword connected to Toshizo Hijikata, vice-chief of the Shinsengumi who lived during the late Edo period. The famous detective from the west, Heiji Hattori, Conan Edogawa and others are also visiting Hakodate for a Kendo tournament. On the day of the warning, Heiji sees through Kid's disguise and corners him.
