It has been announced that the 14th volume of the popular light novel series "Rascal Does Not Dream" (Dengeki Bunko), which has also been made into an anime, "Rascal Does Not Dream of His Girlfriend," will be released on August 9th, and the 15th volume, "Rascal Does Not Dream of Dear Friend," will be released on October 10th. This will be the final chapter of the series. A special edition with a drama CD will also be released.

The first volume of the series, "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai," was released in April 2014, and has sold over 3 million copies. Author Hajime Kamoshida commented, "Before I knew it, it was the 10th anniversary of Aobuta. Before I knew it, it was the final chapter. I've already finished writing the manuscript, so I'd like to spend the 10th anniversary with everyone."
The "Rascal Does Not Dream" series depicts the love story between a high school student, Sakuta Azusagawa, who is an outcast at school, and an actress, Mai Sakurajima, who is a senior at the school. The keyword is "puberty syndrome," which occurs during adolescence.
