It has been announced that the band "Kessoku Band" from the TV anime "Bocchi the Rock!", which is based on Aki Hamaji's 4-panel manga, will appear at the outdoor music festival "JAPAN JAM 2024". This is the first time that "Kessoku Band" will perform at an outdoor music festival. The festival will be held at Chiba City Soga Sports Park (Chuo Ward, Chiba City) from April 28th to May 5th, and "Kessoku Band" will appear on May 4th. Vocalist Ikumi Hasegawa, who plays the role of Ikuyo Kita, guitarist Ritsuo Mitsui and akkin, bassist Yuichi Takama, and drummer Yuya Ishii will perform the song.
"Bocchi the Rock!" is a music manga that has been serialized since 2018. The story is about a lonely girl who loves the guitar, Hitori Goto, who ends up joining Kessoku Band led by Nijika Ijichi through an unexpected turn of events. The TV anime aired from October to December 2022.
