It has been announced that Seiko's collaboration watch with Hayao Miyazaki's anime `` Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind'' will be released from the ``Seiko Presage'' series on March 8th. The price is 220,000 yen. Limited to 1500 pieces worldwide.

The blue dial is inspired by the blue clothes that Nausicaä wears in the story, and the emblem drawn on her clothes is designed at the 6 o'clock position. The design uses a large crown that is easy to operate, imagining that Nausicaä uses a wristwatch while wearing gloves in the story. The side of the crown is decorated with blue glass that has the motif of the eye of the Omu. The Omu is also engraved on the inside of the leather strap.
The special box that houses the watch comes with a card with a message from director Miyazaki: ``Let's live without being bound by time.''
