The 24th episode, the first episode of the second season of the completely new TV anime series of Rumiko Takahashi's popular manga ``Urusei Yatsura'', will be broadcast on Fuji TV's late night anime slot ``Noitamina'' and other stations from midnight on January 11th. Episode 24 is a two-part feature called "Fantasy Bubble Gum" and "Love Knows No Barriers".

"Fantasy Bubble Gum" features a ``Bonus Bubble Gum'' in which a delusional object appears inside an inflated bubble gum. When Ten is playing with gum, Ataru finds him and takes the gum away from him. Ten cries as she reports that Ram took her away.
"Love Knows No Barriers" depicts the Moroboshi family, which is in trouble in the morning due to a fight between Ten. While they were fighting, throwing things and lighting fires, Ataru threw a rice cooker that hit Lum in the forehead. At first glance, I thought it was nothing, but Lum's demeanor changed.
``Urusei Yatsura'' is one of the masterpieces of Takahashi, who is also known for `` Maison Ikkoku,'' ``Ranma 1/2,'' and ``Inuyasha.'' Takahashi made her debut with ``Katte na Yatsura'' in 1978, and ``Urusei Yatsura'' was serialized in ``Weekly Shonen Sunday'' (Shogakukan) from 1978 to 1987. The story depicts the daily lives of Ataru Moroboshi, a high school student, and Lum, a demon girl who came to Earth. The TV anime was broadcast on Fuji TV from October 1981 to March 1986.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Shogakukan, which publishes the work, the new anime will be made into a TV anime in four cours, with selected episodes from the original work. Directed by Hideya Takahashi and Yasuhiro Kimura, who worked on `` JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE : Golden Wind,'' and produced by David Production. The first season was broadcast in two cours from October 2022.
The second season will be broadcast in two consecutive cours.
