Future Boy Conan: Director Hayao Miyazaki's classic anime will be staged for the first time, to be performed in early summer 2024

It has been announced that Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece anime `` Future Boy Conan'' will be adapted into a stage play. It will be performed as "Stage 'Future Boy Conan'" at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater Playhouse (Toshima Ward, Tokyo) in May and June 2024. This is the first time the work has been adapted for the stage.

Israeli-born Inbal Pinto will be in charge of direction, choreography, and art, and David Monboeuf, who is an exclusive performer for France's Theater National des Peoples, will be in charge of directing. The aim is to create a new performing arts work with plays, dance, songs, music, art, costumes, lighting, etc.

The play will be performed at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater Playhouse in May and June 2024, followed by a tour. Details will be announced at a later date.
