The poster visual for the new movie version of the manga "Haikyu!!", "Haikyu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump" (to be released on February 16, 2024) has been released. The visual features the full members of both schools, 12 members from Karasuno High School including Shoyo Hinata , and 9 members from Nekoma High School including Kenma Kozume, and depicts Hinata and Kenma facing each other.
It was also announced that on February 16, 2024, the release date of the film, an IMAX version will be released simultaneously in addition to the regular version.
"Haikyu!!" is a manga by Haruichi Furudate that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from February 2012 to July 2020. The story depicts Shoyo Hinata, who suffered a crushing defeat in the last official match of his junior high school days, reunites with Tobio Kageyama from the team he lost to at Karasuno High School's volleyball club, and together they aim for the top.
The first season of the TV anime will be from April to September 2014, the second season will be from October 2015 to March 2016, the third season will be from October to December 2016, and the first season of the fourth season will be from January 2020. In April, the second season was broadcast from October to December.
The new movie "FINAL the Movie" series is a two-part series. The first part is an episode that follows the battle against Inarizaki High School that was depicted in the fourth season of the TV anime, and depicts the ``Battle at the Garbage Dump'' against Karasuno High School and Nekoma High School, both of which are popular in the original work. Like the TV anime, it will be produced by Production IG.
