It has been announced that the manga ``Tiger Mask'', originally written by Ikki Kajiwara and illustrated by Naoki Tsuji, which was serialized from 1968 to 1971, will be made into a live-action movie in Italy. It will be co-produced by Rome-based Fabula Pictures and Milan-based Brandon Box, and co-produced by Kodansha, the original publisher.
"Tiger Mask" was made into a TV anime in 1969, and "Tiger Mask II" was also broadcast from 1981 to 1982. In 2013, it was made into a live-action film starring Eiji Wentz.
