A new teaser visual for the theatrical compilation of the TV anime "Bocchi the Rock!" has been released. Character designer and chief animation director Kerorira drew Nijika Ijichi.
"Bocchi the Rock!" is a four-panel manga by Hamaji Aki that has been serialized in "Manga Time Kirara MAX" (Houbunsha) since 2018. The story is about a lonely guitar-loving girl, Hitori Goto, who ends up joining Kessoku Band led by Nijika Ijichi through an unexpected turn of events. The TV anime is directed by Saito Keiichiro and produced by CloverWorks. It aired from October to December 2022.
The first part of the theater compilation, ``Theatrical Digest Bocchi the Rock! Re:'', will be released in the spring of 2024, and the second part, ``Theatrical Digest Bocchi the Rock! Re: Re:'', will be released in the summer of the same year.
A limited-time screening of the live event "Kessoku Band LIVE -Kosei-" will be held from November 17th to 30th.
