Additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime Undead Unluck'', which is based on Yoshifumi Totsuka's manga currently being serialized in ``Weekly Shonen Jump'' (Shueisha). Ayumu Murase, Yuki Kaji, Ikumi Hasegawa, Toshiyuki Morikawa, and Hiroki Yasumoto will appear.
Murase is Chikara Shigeno, a timid high school student who has the negator ability "UNMOVE", Kaji is Rip, a person of the negator ability "UNREPAIR", who belongs to Under, an organization hostile to the Union, and Hasegawa is Latla who belongs to Under. Morikawa will play Feng , a martial artist whose face is hidden by a hood, and Yasumoto will play Creed, a large military-looking man who belongs to Under.
"Undead Unluck" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in January 2020. The unique buddies of Fuuko, a girl with the ability of unluck who is prepared for death, and Andy, a man with the ability of immortality (undead) who seeks death, confront numerous enemies and the mysteries of the world. It also became a hot topic when it won first place in the comics category of the Next Coming Manga Awards 2020.
The anime will be produced by David Production, which also produces the `` JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE '' series and ``Fire Force.'' Yuichi Nakamura will play Andy, Moe Kahara will play Fuko, and Natsuki Hanae and Kenji Nomura will also appear. It is currently being broadcast on MBS/TBS's late-night anime slot ``Super Animeism''.
