In preparation for the final part (part 2) of "The Final Season", the final chapter of the TV anime "Attack on Titan", to be broadcast on NHK General from midnight on November 4th, the original author... Hajime Isayama made a comment. He expressed his gratitude, saying, ``Thank you very much for your continued support over the past 10 years since the TV anime adaptation,'' and ``This time, at my request, I have slightly redrawn the name at the end,'' adding that the scene differs from the original. It was hinted that it would be included in the anime.
Isayama said, ``The climax scene, which is the final part (second part), was difficult to draw even in the original work, so I thought, ``MAPPA must have had a hard time. MAPPA must have wanted you to stop. MAPPA, I'm sorry. I really do. I'm sorry,' but I'm looking forward to seeing how it will be expressed in the anime.''
The final part (part 2) will be broadcast as an 85-minute special on NHK General TV at midnight on November 4th.
"Attack on Titan" is a manga that depicts humanity fighting a hopeless battle against giants with overwhelming power. This is Isayama's debut work, and it began serialization in September 2009 as the first title of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), and reached its final episode in April 2021.
Season 1 of the TV anime was aired from April to September 2013, and season 2 was aired from April to June 2017. Part 1 of Season 3 was aired from July to October 2018, and Part 2 of Season 3 was aired from April to June 2019. Part 1 of "The Final Season", the final chapter, was aired from December 2020 to March 2021, Part 2 was aired from January to April 2022, and the final part (first part) was aired in March of this year.
