The Orbital Children: First terrestrial broadcast on NHK Director Mitsuo Iso's first new anime in 15 years

The original anime `` The Orbital Children'' directed by Mitsuo Iso known for ``Den-noh Coil'' and other works, will be broadcast on NHK General every Saturday at midnight starting November 11th. An anime that was distributed on Netflix in January 2022 and also screened in theaters. This will be the first time it will be broadcast on terrestrial TV. Total 6 episodes.

"The Orbital Children" is set in the year 2045, when the development of AI has made it possible for anyone to go to outer space. Children born on the moon and children who have come from Earth on a space trip are introduced to a Japanese-made spacecraft. We will meet at Station Anshin.

This is Iso's first directorial work in about 15 years since ``Den-noh Coil'', which aired on NHK in 2007. Kenichi Yoshida was in charge of character design, and Toshiyuki Inoue participated as the main animator.
