It has been decided that season 3 of the Netflix drama ``Alice in Borderland'' will be produced. As with the previous film, Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya will co-star as the double leads, and director Shinsuke Sato will also continue.
The production decision art for season 3 has also been released. A joker playing card is placed above the number ``3'', creating a visual that foreshadows the start of a new ``game''.
"Alice in Borderland" is based on the manga of the same name by Haro Aso (Shogakukan). Set in Shibuya, Tokyo, which has been turned into ruins, Ryohei Arisu (Alice), played by Yamazaki, takes on a ``game'' that will cost him his life. Tsuchiya will play the heroine Yuzuha Usagi, who meets Alice at the ``Game'' venue.
