Movie "The Colors Within": Special movie of theme song "in the pocket" sung by Mr.Children released

A special video for the theme song "in the pocket" written by rock band Mr.Children for the original animated feature film "The Colors Within" directed by Yamada Naoko Yamada, known for films such as "A A Silent Voice" and "Liz and the Blue Bird" has been released on YouTube. As the theme song plays, the video shows three characters - Totsuko, who can see people in "colors," Kimi, who hasn't told her family that she has stopped going to school, and Rui, who is secretly pursuing a career as a musician because her mother expects her to become a doctor - meeting and forming a band. It was also revealed that Kensuke Ushio, who served as the film's music director, is in charge of arranging the theme song.

It was also announced that the IMAX version of the film will be screened at 51 theaters nationwide. An exclusive visual for the IMAX version featuring Totsuko, Kimi, and Rui was also released.

A Silent Voice" directed by Yamada, will be broadcast on Nippon Television's movie slot "Friday Road Show" from 9:00 p.m. on August 16th.

"The Colors Within" is about a high school girl, Totsuko Higurashi, who can see people's emotions as "colors," who meets a girl named Kimi Sakunaga, who exudes beautiful colors, at a used bookstore in a corner of town, and a boy named Rui Kagehira, who loves music, and they end up forming a band together.
