Chameleon: OVA released on BD for the first time Based on Atsushi Kase's legendary manga Eisaku Yazawa is played by Keiichi Nanba

It has been announced that the OVA (original video animation) of Atsushi Kase's manga ``Chameleon'', which was popular in the 1990s, will be made into a Blu-ray Disc (BD) for the first time and will be released on April 24th. All six OVA episodes released from 1992 to 1996 have been digitally remastered and included on BD. The jacket will feature a new illustration drawn by Kase. The price is 9900 yen.

"Chameleon" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" from April 1990 to February 1999. The story became popular because it depicts the main character, Eisaku Yazawa, who was bullied in middle school, debuts as a delinquent when he enters high school, and rises to the top of the delinquents through luck and bluffing. After 14 years, the sequel ``Kuro Ageha'' was serialized in ``Monthly Shonen Magazine'' from 2013 to 2022.

In the anime, Keiichi Nanba played the main character, Eisaku Yazawa, and other actors included Masaaki Okura, Kaneto Shiozawa, Eiko Yamada, Kappei Yamaguchi, and Ryusei Nakao.
