The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses when a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed. The comic series has sold over 80 million copies in total. The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0", a prequel to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide.
The second season will depict the episode "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" from Satoru Gojo, Geto Suguru and Suguru Geto, and the "Shibuya Incident" that takes place in the crowded Shibuya streets on Halloween on October 31st. "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" aired in five episodes from July 6th to August 3rd. "Shibuya Incident" has been airing since August 31st.
