Yuriko Yoshitaka will star in the 2024 NHK Taiga drama "Dear Radiance" (Hikaru Kimi e). This week (December 4th to 8th), costume photos of 23 cast members, including Yoshitaka, who plays the main character Mahiro (Murasaki Shikibu), were released.

"Dear Radiance" is set in the Heian period, and Murasaki Shikibu is the main character. Murasaki Shikibu wrote ``The Tale of Genji'' in the mid-Heian period, later said to be the world's oldest women's literature. It reflects the glittering world of Heian nobility and the life of a woman who lived, wrote, and loved hard. Broadcast starts on January 7, 2024. Broadcast on Sundays at 8pm on NHK General.
