Singer and model Maki Goto attended the new product launch of hair care brand DR.HONEY held in Tokyo on August 26th. Goto, who appeared with her shiny straight hair flowing in the wind, looked back on her time with idol group Morning Musume and revealed, "I often danced with my hair down, so I had a haircut that would flow when I turned my head."
Goto, who said, "I dye my hair frequently, so it's easily damaged," shared some key points for hair care: "In addition to shampoo and conditioner, I always apply hair oil before using a hair dryer, don't hold the hair dryer too close to the hair, and use cold air after drying with heat."
She added, "Having my fans see me influences my own sense of beauty," and said she doesn't have a special day for hair care, "I spend a certain amount of time every day doing it until I'm satisfied."
The brand's new products will be available at drug stores and variety shops nationwide from the 26th. The lineup includes shampoo, treatment, hair oil, and hair pack.
