Go Ayano appears at the movie "The Last Mile" event with his partner from the drama "MIU404" - Gen Hoshino

On August 20th, actor Go Ayano attended the premiere event and stage greeting for the film "The Last Mile" (directed by Ayuko Tsukahara, released on August 23rd) held in Tokyo, along with his "partner" Gen Hoshino and others.

The film is directed by Director Tsukahara and written by Nogi Akiko, and is a non-stop suspense story set in a "shared universe" that intersects with the world lines of the dramas "Unnatural" (2018) and "MIU404" (2020).

Ayano, who played Ibuki Ai in "MIU404," commented on the film, "What was big for my role was meeting Shima (Kazumi) (played by Hoshino), and being able to be reunited with her again. Such personal feelings support the film. When I think that they will reach everyone, it makes me feel very warm. I hope everyone enjoys this big love film," and called out to Hoshino, like Ibuki, "Thank you, Shima!"

Hoshino sent a message about the film, saying, "It's also known as the Nogi Akiko festival, the Arai Junko (producer) festival. I'm looking forward to participating. After reading the script, I found it to be a truly wonderful story, with ordinary people as the main characters, and I'm sure the words 'last mile' will be memorable. I think it's a phrase that everyone will take home into their lives."

At the event, the two posed for photos together, showing that they are just as close friends as they were four years ago.
