It has been announced that Mikihisa Konishi 's manga "Petals of Reincarnation," currently being serialized in "Monthly Comic Garden" and "MAGCOMI" (Mag Garden), will be adapted into a TV anime. It is a supernatural battle manga about a high school student, Toya Senji Touya, who is strong and craves talent because he has no talent, but uses the talent he has acquired to confront his past and future. The story depicts battles in which the protagonist makes use of the "Branches of Samsara," which cut through his own flesh and unearth talents from his past life. A visual commemorating the decision to make the anime, showing the heroine Haito Luo Buffet holding a Branch of Samsara, as well as a special promotional video of the original work featuring the "Encircles" who have brought out the talents of their past lives, have also been released.

The series began serialization in Monthly Comic Blade in 2014. 19 volumes of the comics have been published, with the latest volume, 20, set to be released on August 7. The total number of copies published is over 3 million.
