Based on Toriyama's designs, the design drawings were prepared for the anime and include Gomar, the Masked Demon, Glorio, Goku (mini), Kaiōshin (mini), Vegeta (mini), and Piccolo (mini). New footage featuring new characters was also released, showing Goku (mini) and Kaiōshin (mini), who have been shrunk by a conspiracy, acting together.
