Kaiju No. 8: First exhibition, images of four exhibition areas revealed

Images of the four exhibition areas of the first-ever exhibition of "Kaiju No. 8" a popular manga by Naoya Matsumoto that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Jump+," have been released. The four areas, the Monster Disaster Area, the Defense Force Base Area, the Climax Battle Area, and the 100 Monster Scenes Area, will feature around 120 illustrations, life-size equipment and weapons of the defense force members, videos, and more, allowing visitors to experience the appeal of the series.

It was also announced that special events will be held every Tuesday and Thursday during the event. At the "Kaiju No. 9 Exhibition" every Tuesday, visitors will be given a Kaiju No. 9 mask as a gift, and there will also be a special photo spot. At the "Kaiju Search Mission in Suidobashi" every Thursday, a humanoid monster will appear in the venue, and those who complete the search mission will receive a commemorative gift for being promoted to a full-fledged member.

The exhibition will be held at Tokyo Dome City Gallery AaMo (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) from September 13th to November 10th.

"Kaiju No. 8" is a battle manga that has been serialized in "Shonen Jump +" since July 2020. Set in Japan, a monster powerhouse where monsters mercilessly invade everyday life, the story follows the adventures of the protagonist, Kafka Hibino, whose body has been transformed into a monster by a mysterious creature. The comic has sold over 15 million copies in total.

The TV anime aired on TV Tokyo and other networks from April to June. The announcement that a sequel to the TV anime is in the works has also become a hot topic.
