EDENS ZERO: The grand finale!! Six-year serialization comes to an end "Magazine" features a conversation between Hiro Mashima and George Morikawa

"EDENS ZERO," a popular manga by Hiro Mashima, known for "FAIRY TAIL" and other works, reached its final chapter in issue 30 of the serialized magazine "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), released on June 26th, bringing the curtain down on its six-year run. The manga appeared on the cover and in color on the opening page of the issue, with the caption "The Proud Final Chapter!!" on the cover. The final, 33rd volume of the comic will be released on August 16th.

The issue also features a special feature: a conversation between Mashima and George Morikawa, author of "Hajime no Ippo." The conversation spans five pages and talks about how the two first met, their thoughts on the work, and their memories of the judges who accompanied them. There will also be a giveaway where you can win a collaborative autographed color paper by Morikawa and Mashima, and a gift box for all applicants to receive a complete set of the "EDENS ZERO" comics.

"EDENS ZERO" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" in June 2018. The story is about Shiki, a boy who lives with machines in the dreamland of Granbell, who meets Rebecca, a video streamer girl, and Happy, a blue cat, and goes on an adventure through space.

The TV anime series also gained popularity, with the first season airing from April to October 2021 and the second season airing from April to October 2023.
