Additional cast members for the TV anime "Dandadan," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," have been announced, including Nana Mizuki, Ayane Sakura, and Kaito Ishikawa. Mizuki will play Seiko, Momo's grandmother who works as the spirit medium Dodoria Santa, Sakura will play the beautiful girl Aira (Aira Shiratori), and Ishikawa will play Jiji (Jin Enjoji), Momo's childhood friend and first love. Visuals featuring Seiko, Aira, and Jiji, as well as the second promotional video, have also been released.

"Dandadan" is a manga by Tatsu, who was an assistant on the popular manga "Chainsaw Man" and "Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku", and began serialization in "Shonen Jump +" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, as they face one strange phenomenon after another. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 3.2 million. The total number of views on "Shonen Jump +" is over 440 million.
The TV anime will be broadcast on the MBS/TBS late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" from October.
