Witchy Pretty Cure! : Sequel "MIRAI DAYS" to feature Rie Takahashi, Yui Horie, Saori Hayami, and Ayaka Saito Continuing voice cast

It has been revealed that voice actors Rie Takahashi, Yui Horie, Saori Hayami, and Ayaka Saito will reprise their roles in "Witchy Pretty Cure! ~MIRAI DAYS~", the sequel to the 13th installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Witchy Pretty Cure!". New character settings for Mirai Asahina, Liko Izayoi, Kotoha Hanami, and Mofurun have also been revealed. The announcement was made on June 12th, Mirai's birthday.

"Witchy Pretty Cure!" aired from February 2016 to January 2017, and a sequel will be broadcast about eight years after the series ended.

Last year, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the "Pretty Cure" series, a new project was launched to create an "adult" version of the series so that children aged 3 to 6, the main audience for the series at the time of its broadcast, can continue to enjoy the series in the future. As part of this project, "Power of Hope: PreCure Full Bloom," which depicts the growth of the Nozomi Yumehara characters from "Yes! PreCure 5" and "Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!", the fourth and fifth series aired from February 2007 to January 2009, was broadcast on NHK E-television from October to December 2023. A sequel to "Witchy Pretty Cure!" will also be broadcast as part of the same project.

"Witchy Pretty Cure!" aired from February 2016 to January 2017. The catchphrase was "Two time periods (futures) are now connected with the magical words 'Cure Up RaPaPa!'" and the story was set in the magical world and No Magic Realm (human world), depicting Mirai Asahina, Liko Izayoi, and Kotoha Hanami transforming into the "legendary magical PreCures" and doing great things. The sequel will air on ABC TV/TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "ANiMAZiNG!!!" from 2 a.m. on January 11, 2025.

The "PreCure" series is an anime that depicts the main characters transforming into Pretty Cure and facing various difficulties. The first series, "Futari wa Pretty Cure Cure," began on February 1, 2004, and the series has reached its 20th anniversary. The 21st series, "Wonderful PreCure!", is currently airing on ABC TV and TV Asahi every Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
