It was revealed on June 6th that the fourth season of the popular anime series "Mr. Osomatsu" will be produced. The announcement was made at 6:06pm on June 6th, 2024, in honor of the sextuplets, the main characters of the series. An original visual by Eiji Abiko, who has been the character designer since the third season, was also released. The sextuplets are not drawn, and the hoodies they always wear are folded up for some reason, creating a meaningful visual. A promotional video was also released on YouTube, in which the sextuplets repeatedly chant "season 4."

With the fourth season in the works, the voice actors who play the sextuplets have commented. Takahiro Sakurai who plays Osomatsu, said, "There will be a fourth season of Mr. Osomatsu. It's a bit embarrassing to divide this work into seasons, but I'm very happy that we can keep getting bigger and bigger, so I want to do my best in the next season as well. It seems like they're up to something. Please look forward to it."

Yuichi Nakamura, who plays Karamatsu, said, "Season 4...? Season 4!? I can't believe it, it's season 4. Are they excited right up to season 6? I don't really know, but whatever the case may be, we're just going to go all out and make a fuss. I wonder what kind of commotion awaits us this time...just sit back and wait!!!"

Hiroshi Kamiya who plays Choromatsu, said, "It seems there will be a fourth season of Mr. Osomatsu. The saying "What happens twice happens a third time" isn't in a good sense, but once it gets past that... I wonder what will happen? Maybe it will gradually become an annual event? Maybe they'll even call it a necessary Matsu. Just like how a temporary festival becomes an annual event... I'm really going to do a fourth season of Mr. Osomatsu."

Jun Fukuyama, who plays Ichimatsu, said, "Mr. Osomatsu is finally on its fourth season. At first, I said I wanted to do it up to the sixth season, but it's starting to look like that might not be just a fantasy. But they're probably planning to do something weird again in the fourth season, right? If that's the case, who knows what's to come. It's a matter of life or death. I'll approach it with a sense of caution. Yes."

Daisuke Ono, who plays Jyushimatsu, commented, "Go for the fourth season! Thank you for the huge walk-off home run! Do your best, muscle mass through! Hustle hustle through! Bow! Bow ever! Wow, with the fourth season already, I can't think of any witty comments! Just watch, you'll understand when you see it! Let's go! 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th season!"

Miyu Irino, who plays Todomatsu, said, "Season 4! Finally! Yay! But it seems like it's going to be completely different from anything before. According to rumors. Well, it's really just a rumor so I don't know what it actually is. For now I'm looking forward to it. Look forward to an inappropriate Mr. Osomatsu goes against the flow of the times. Maybe he'll become a super well-behaved Mr. Osomatsu. Oh well. Whatever! It's a festival, a festival."

It was also announced that the show "Sextuplets Radio," hosted by Fukuyama and Ono, will be streamed live on YouTube from 9:00 pm on June 6th. The show will celebrate the decision to create the fourth policy together with fans, and all of the sextuplets' voice actors will appear via live phone calls and voice messages.

"Mr. Osomatsu san" is based on Fujio Akatsuka's comedy manga "Osomatsu-kun." It depicts the daily lives of the sextuplets as adults, and its extreme gags have made it popular among female anime fans.
