My Wife Has No Emotion: Additional cast members for the TV anime announced: Yuki Wakai as Robot Mamoru, Risae Matsuda as Licht Nishionji

Additional cast members have been announced for the TV anime series "My Wife Has No Emotion," based on the manga by Jiro Sugiura currently being serialized in the manga magazine "Monthly Comic Flapper" (KADOKAWA). Risae Matsuda and Yuki Wakai will appear. The story depicts the cohabitation of a corporate slave salaryman, Takuma Kosugi, and a housework robot, Mina. Matsuda will play Licht Nishionji, the owner of Super Mina, a general-purpose home appliance robot, M107S, while Wakai will play Mamoru, a robot purchased by Mina to manage Takuma's health. Wakai is also active as a member of the voice actress idol group "i☆Ris," and fellow i☆Ris member Yu Serizawa will also appear in the series as Super Mina.

Takuma and Mina appeared as bride and groom on the cover of the July issue of "Monthly Comic Flapper," which went on sale June 5. The cover was newly drawn and paid homage to the wedding illustration of Takuma and Mina that appeared on the cover of the magazine's November 2020 issue.

It was also announced that a pre-broadcast program featuring Toshiyuki Toyonaga, who plays Takuma Kosugi, Konomi Inagaki, who plays Mina, Serizawa, and Wakai will be streamed live on YouTube from 7:00 p.m. on June 29th.

"My Wife Has No Emotion" has been serialized in "Monthly Comic Flapper" since 2019. The story is about Takuma Kosugi, a corporate slave salaryman who has been living alone for three years, and Mina, a housework robot who is supposed to have no emotions, who live together and how the bond between the couple begins to develop... The series has gained popularity, having been ranked 6th in the comics category of the "Next Manga Awards 2022".

The anime will be directed by Fumihiro Yoshimura who also directed "The Quintessential Quintuplets," and produced by Tezuka Productions. It will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations from July 2nd.
