The fourth episode of the new TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" "Hashira Training Arc", "To Bring a Smile to One's Face", was broadcast on Fuji TV from 11:15 pm on June 2nd, and the average viewership (Kanto region, Video Research survey, same below) was 6.7% for households and 3.8% for individuals. In the fourth episode, Tanjiro Kamado and other corps members were shown training with the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, and related words such as "Tokito-kun", "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", "Paper airplane", "Kanamori-san", and "Urokodaki-san" became trending topics on X (formerly Twitter), becoming a hot topic.
In Episode 4, Tanjiro successfully finished practicing under the former Hashira Tengen Uzui , and when he next went to the Tokito residence, Muichiro had already started intense training with the soldiers. A scene was also depicted in which Muichiro and Tanjiro compete to fly a paper airplane. The appearance of the swordsmith Kozo Kanamori and Tanjiro's mentor Sakonji Urokodaki also attracted the attention of fans.
The "Hashira Training Arc" depicts the training of Demon Slaying Corps' strongest swordsmen, the Hashira, in preparation for the battle against the demon's progenitor, Muzan Kibutsuji. It is currently being broadcast on Fuji TV every Sunday at 11:15 pm.
