It has been revealed that the TV anime "Kaiju No. 8" will take over the women's magazine "anan" (Magazine House) for two consecutive issues. The special edition of issue 2400, which goes on sale June 5th, will feature Kafka Hibino and Reno Ichikawa on the cover, with Soshiro Hoshina on the back cover. The special edition of issue 2401, which goes on sale June 12th, will feature Mina Ashiro and Kikoru Shinomiya on the cover. The cover is a new drawing, and features Kafka and Reno in a relaxed mood, Hoshina smiling with two swords in his hands, and Mina and Kikoru standing back to back.

Interviews with the voice actors will also be published for two consecutive issues, with issue 2400 featuring Masaya Fukunishi, who plays Kafka, Wataru Kato, who plays Reno, and Kengo Kawanishi, who plays Hoshina, and issue 2401 featuring Seto Asami Seto, who plays Mina, and Fairouz Ai, who plays Kikoru.
"Kaiju No. 8" has been serialized in "Shonen Jump+" since July 2020. Set in Japan, a monster superpower where monsters mercilessly invade everyday life, the story follows the adventures of the protagonist, Kafka Hibino whose body has been transformed into a monster by a mysterious creature. It also made headlines when it was selected as the winner of the Web Manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2021" in 2021. The comic has sold over 13 million copies in total. The anime is produced by Production IG, the studio behind the "Ghost in the Shell" series. It airs every Saturday at 11pm on TV Tokyo and other channels.
