It was announced on May 28th that the sequel of the thirteenth installment of the popular anime series "PreCure!", "Witchy Pretty Cure!", will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "ANiMAZiNG!!!" from 2am on January 11th, 2025. The title of the sequel is "Witchy Pretty Cure! ~MIRAI DAYS~", and the logo has also been released. It has been about eight years since the series ended in January 2017, and the sequel will be broadcast.

Last year, as part of a new project to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the "PreCure" series, the series began producing an "adult" anime with the concept of "creating content that will allow current viewers of the series, as well as fans from back then who have grown up, to continue to enjoy the series even more" so that the main audience of 3- to 6-year-olds at the time of its broadcast can continue to enjoy the series.

As part of the project, "Power of Hope: PreCure Full Bloom", which depicts the growth of Nozomi Yumehara and the other characters from "Yes! PreCure 5" and "Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!", the fourth and fifth series that aired from February 2007 to January 2009, was broadcast from October to December 2023 on NHK-E Television. A sequel to "Witchy Pretty Cure!" will also be broadcast as part of the same project.

"Witchy Pretty Cure!" aired from February 2016 to January 2017. The catchphrase was "Two time periods (futures) are now connected with the magical words 'Cure Up RaPaPa!'" and the story was set in the magical world and No Magic Realm (human world), depicting Mirai Asahina, Liko Izayoi, and Kotoha Hanami transforming into the "legendary magical girls" PreCure and doing great things.

The "PreCure" series is an anime that depicts the main characters transforming into Pretty Cure and facing various difficulties. The first series, "Futari wa Pretty Cure Cure," began on February 1, 2004, and the series has reached its 20th anniversary. The 21st series, "Wonderful PreCure!", is currently airing on ABC TV and TV Asahi every Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
