The third episode of the new TV anime "Hashira Training Arc" of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, "Fully Recovered Tanjiro Joins the Hashira Training!!", was broadcast on Fuji TV from 11:15 pm on May 26th, and the average viewership rate (Kanto region, Video Research survey, same below) was 6.3% for households and 3.7% for individuals. In the third episode, Tanjiro Kamado and other corps members were shown taking on the passionate training of Tengen Uzui, the former Sound Pillar, and related words such as "Uzui-san" and "Tengen-sama" became trending topics on X (formerly Twitter), becoming a hot topic.
The "Hashira Training Arc" depicts Demon Slaying Corps' strongest swordsmen, the Pillars, training in preparation for the battle against the demon's progenitor, Muzan Kibutsuji. In the third episode, the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka, overcomes his past self while talking with Tanjiro and decides to join the training, albeit late. Meanwhile, Tanjiro's wounds have healed enough that he can join the training, and he heads to the training of Uzui, the former Sound Hashira.
