Fumiya Takahashi: Playing a delivery man with Kei Tanaka in the movie "Ano Hito ga Kieta" - a mystery set in an apartment where "people disappear"

It has been announced that actor Fumiya Takahashi will star in the film "Ano Hito ga Kieta" (That Person Disappeared), set for release on September 20. The mystery film revolves around an apartment rumored to make people "disappear one after another." Takahashi plays a young deliveryman who, along with his senior colleague played by Kei Tanaka, gets caught up in an unexpected major incident. Takahashi commented, "'Ano Hito ga Kieta' is truly an unpredictable story that features deliverymen who might be right around the corner from you. I hope everyone enjoys this chilling and thrilling film as summer transitions into fall."

This "unpredictable mystery entertainment" is based on an entirely original script by Itaru Mizuno, director of the popular drama "Brush Up Life" (NTV). The setting is a cursed apartment building where people are rumored to disappear one after another. While going in and out of the apartment building almost every day, a young delivery man, Maruko (Takahashi), accidentally finds out the "secret" of a suspicious resident. From that day on, he becomes embroiled in an unexpected major incident. Tanaka plays Arakawa, a senior colleague at Maruko's workplace who dreams of becoming a novelist.

In the teaser video released at the same time, Maruko and Arakawa are shown holding a parcel accompanied by music that builds up tension, and the words "People will disappear from this apartment building" are displayed. Then suddenly, it becomes silent, and an ominous intercom rings. At the end, the two of them are seen grinning, as if to express the words "This delivery person is strange."

The recently released teaser video shows Maruko and Arakawa holding packages with tense music playing in the background. The text "This apartment makes people disappear" appears on the screen, followed by an eerie intercom sound in sudden silence. The teaser ends with the two characters smiling mysteriously, hinting at the tagline, "This deliveryman is strange."

Tanaka also expressed his excitement, "When I heard about the film 'Ano Hito ga Kieta' and that Fumiya Takahashi would be the lead, I really wanted to participate. In our previous project, we were teacher and student, but this time we are playing the roles of senior and junior. I was looking forward to it even before filming began. Since then, we've both been involved in various projects and shared experiences on variety shows, so I am very happy to be working together again on this project."
