Bocchi the Rock! : Kessoku Band to appear at Rockin' Japan, featuring Yoshino Aoyama, Sayumi Suzushiro, Saku Mizuno, and Ikumi Hasegawa

It has been revealed that the band "Kessoku Band" from the TV anime "Bocchi the Rock!", based on the four-frame manga by Aki Hamaji currently being serialized in "Manga Time Kirara MAX" (Houbunsha), will be appearing at Japan's largest outdoor rock festival, "ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024." The rock festival will be held on August 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, and 12th at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City (Chuo Ward, Chiba City), and Kessoku Band will appear on August 4th.

Yoshino Aoyama, Sayumi Suzushiro, Saku Mizuno, and Ikumi Hasegawa will appear as vocalists, while Mitsui Ritsuro, akkin, Takama Yuichi, and Ishii Yuya will appear as band members.

"Bocchi the Rock!" is a music manga that has been serialized since 2018. The story is about a lonely girl who loves the guitar, Hitori Goto, who ends up joining a band led by Nijika Ijichi through an unexpected turn of events. The TV anime aired from October to December 2022 and gained popularity. The first part of the theatrical compilation, "Theatrical Compilation Bocchi the Rock! Re:," will be released on June 7th, and the second part, "Theatrical Compilation Bocchi the Rock! Re:Re:," will be released on August 9th.
