A new cut from the first episode of the new TV anime "Hashira Training Arc" of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba" based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge has been released, titled "To Defeat Muzan Kibutsuji". It shows Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa and Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro heading to an abandoned castle on a mission, along with Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, and Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka participating in a Hashira meeting.

The first episode was broadcast as a one-hour special on Fuji TV on May 12th. The Hashiras Sanemi and Iguro head out with the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps on a mission to an abandoned castle on top of a mountain. Meanwhile, Tanjiro Kamado is at the Butterfly Mansion recovering from the wounds he received at the Swordsmith Village. Meanwhile, the Pillars gather at the Ubuyashiki Mansion for a Hashira Meeting, where Muichiro explains how to manifest the birthmark. In order to raise the overall standard of Demon Slaying Corps, the Hashiras begin training...

The story of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is about Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining Demon Slaying Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has also turned into a demon, back into a human. The original was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 150 million.

The TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" aired from April to September 2019, and the movie version "Mugen Train" released in October 2020 was a huge hit, grossing approximately 40 billion yen, the highest ever box office revenue in Japan. The "Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021 to February 2022, and the "Swordsmith Village Arc" aired from April to June 2023.

The "Hashira Training Arc" depicts the "Hashira Training" by Demon Slaying Corps' strongest swordsmen, the pillars, in preparation for the battle against the demon's progenitor, Muzan Kibutsuji Muzan. It is currently being broadcast on Fuji TV every Sunday at 11:15 pm.
