Kinoko Inu: Popular manga to be made into TV anime this fall The daily life of the mysterious creature "Kinoko Inu"

It has been announced that the popular manga "Kinoko Inu" by Kimama Aoboshi, which was serialized in the manga magazine "Monthly Comic Ryu" (Tokuma Shoten, currently out of print) and elsewhere, will be made into a TV anime and broadcast this fall. Details of the anime will be announced in the future.

"Kinoko Inu" was first published in the September 2010 issue of Gekkan COMIC Ryu as a short story, then became a series, running for about 12 years until February 2022. The story depicts the daily life of a mushroom dog, a mysterious creature with a mushroom on its left ear, and the people around it. The final 15 volumes of the comics were released in May 2022. The cumulative circulation of the comic series is approximately 1.7 million copies.
