Jujutsu Kaisen: "Juju Fest 2024" to be held on August 25th, featuring a star-studded cast of voice actors including Junya Enoki Yuichi Nakamura Kenjiro Tsuda, Takahiro Sakurai

It has Gege Akutami that a special event, "Juju Fest 2024," for the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," based on the popular manga by Akutami Gege, will be held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on August 25th. A total of nine gorgeous voice actors will appear, including Junya Enoki, Yuma Uchida, Asami Seto, Yuichi Nakamura, Kenjiro Tsuda Subaru Kimura Aya Endo, Endo Aya, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Takahiro Sakurai. Event visuals featuring characters such as Yuji Itadori have also been released.

The event will feature talks by the voice actors and live dubbing of songs from the series performed by a special band. Soushi Sakiyama, who sang the ending theme for the second season of the TV anime, "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" will also be appearing. The event will be split into two parts: a daytime session and an evening session.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since 2018. The story is about a high school student, Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses after a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a prequel to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. There is also talk of a sequel to the anime, Culling Game, being produced.
