Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuichi Nakamura and Takahiro Sakurai to appear in anime and game joint special program to be streamed on May 19th

Gege Akutami a special program on the anime and game of Akutami Gege's popular manga "Jujutsu Kaisen," called "Jujutsu Kaisen Anime & Game Joint Special," will be streamed on YouTube's "TOHO animation channel" from 8:00 pm on May 19th. Yuichi Nakamura, the voice actor for Satoru Gojo, and Takahiro Sakurai the voice actor for Suguru Geto, will appear and look back on the TV anime.

The special program will also introduce the latest information on the smartphone game "Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade" and the home game "Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash." To commemorate the program's release, a countdown event will also be held until the release. As the first step, a teaser visual for the paid downloadable content "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" for "Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash" was released. The second part will be announced on May 15th on the official "Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade" X (formerly Twitter) account.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since 2018. The story is about a high school student, Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses after a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a prequel to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. There is also talk of a sequel to the anime, Culling Game, being produced.
