It has been announced that the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (KYOMAF) 2024, the largest manga, anime and game event in western Japan, will be held on September 21st and 22nd. It will be held at Miyako Messe (Kyoto City Industrial Promotion Hall), ROHM Theatre Kyoto, Kyoto International Manga Museum, and other locations in Kyoto. The event started in 2012 and this will be its 13th time.

An original visual by Hamacham, an illustrator who graduated from Kyoto University of the Arts, was also released. It features Kyoto City's PR mascot Kyono Tsukasa and Kyoto City Transportation Bureau subway and city bus support mascot Uzumasa Moe.
