Eight new cuts from the all-new movie version of the popular anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom have been released. They include the golden Akatsuki, Dearka's Lightning Buster Gundam, Yzak's mothership, the Eternal-class mobile suit carrier Eternal, and the Millennium's charge in the final battle scene.

Cuts were also released featuring familiar characters from the "SEED" series, such as Yzak, Dearka, Murrue, and Mu.
"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" was broadcast from October 2002 to September 2003, and the sequel ``Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY'' was broadcast from October 2004 to October 2005. In addition to fans of the previous "Gundam" series, it has gained a large number of female fans, and has been called the "first Gundam of the 21st century." Gunpla (plastic models) were also doing well and became a big movement, sparking a "second Gunpla boom" among elementary school students.
"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom" is a sequel to "SEED DESTINY," and the staff of the TV anime, including Director Mitsuo Fukuda have reunited. The production of the movie was announced in 2006, but there was no news about it for a long time. After about 18 years from the announcement, it was released on January 26th and became a hit, grossing over 4.32 billion yen.
