Jou (Ryu Saito), a police officer, has recently joined the Boonboomger. However, Ishiro (nicknamed Shashiro, Yuki Hayama) says, "I don't trust policemen who are too serious," and follows Jou. He tries to find out if there is a "secret side" to him.

"Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger" is the 48th work in Super Sentai series, based on cars that are very popular among children. A hero dressed in a racing suit uses a super machine he has built to fight against the space rogue "Hashiriyan" who attacks various planets. The script was written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, a ``hobby anime master'' who has worked on the `` Pokemon'' series and ``Inazuma Eleven'' series.
