Kimagure Orange Road: 40th anniversary exhibition to be held Akemi Takada's color illustrations and rough drawings, etc.

It has been announced that the exhibition "Kimagure Orange Road 40th Anniversary Exhibition" will be held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the serialization of Izumi Matsumoto's manga "Kimagure Orange Road". It will be held at Yurakucho Marui (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) from April 26th to May 12th, and Namba Marui (Chuo Ward, Osaka City) from June 15th to 30th.

Approximately 200 items will be on display, including reproductions of manuscripts by Matsumoto, color illustrations and rough drawings by Akemi Takada, who was in charge of character design for the anime, and anime setting drawings. We will also be selling new merchandise featuring Takada's autographed 88 graph (print) and anime-related illustrations. Admission fee is 1,000 yen, and admission is free for elementary school students and younger.
