Frieren: Beyond Journey's End: Preview of final episode not aired on TV released Frieren, Fern, Stark “Unexpected characters” too

A web-only preview of the final episode of the TV anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" (Nippon Television Network), episode 28, "It Would Be Embarrassing When We Met Again", has been released on YouTube. In the preview, which was not aired on TV, three party members, Frieren, Fern, and Stark, and an "unexpected character" also appeared.

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, which began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in April 2020. Frieren, a magician in the hero's party who defeated the Demon King, is an elf and has a long lifespan, but after experiencing the death of a companion, she sets out on a journey to "get to know people". The anime will be directed by Keiichiro Saito, who has also worked on "Bocchi the Rock!", and produced by Madhouse. Atsumi Tanezaki will play the main character Frieren, and voice actors such as Kana Ichinose and Chiaki Kobayashi will also appear.

The final episode will be broadcast on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" on March 22 at 11:45 pm. Fern was told by Serie that she had passed the final exam of the First Class Mage Examination. The following Denken, Wirbel, and Ubel are also told whether they passed or failed. The time for Frieren and others to leave the magical city of Oythurst is approaching.
