The award ceremony for the 78th Mainichi Film Award was held on February 14th at Meguro Persimmon Hall (Meguro-ku, Tokyo), and Suzu Hirose, who won the Best supporting actress for "Kyrie no Uta" (directed by Shunji Iwai), took the stage.
Hirose, who appeared in a black dress with see-through material at the neckline, was praised by host Hiroshi Ikushima, saying, "What a wonderful outfit!" Director Shunji Iwai also smiled and said, ``It's great. (Reporters) please take lots of photos,'' while Hirose said with a shy smile, ``It's embarrassing, it's embarrassing.''
