Illustrations of characters drawn by the original author Akira Toriyama for the completely new series ``Dragon Ball DAIMA'' of the popular anime ``Dragon Ball'' have been released. In addition to Goku and Krillin, who were shrunk due to a certain conspiracy, it also depicts shrunken Mr. Satan, Android 18, Chi-Chi, and Majin Buu. A new character design illustration designed by Toriyama was also released.

The new anime will be released worldwide in the fall of 2024. The anime commemorates the 40th anniversary of "Dragon Ball," and will be the first new anime series in about six years since "Dragon Ball Super," which ended airing in March 2018.
It has also become a hot topic that original author Toriyama will be in charge of the story, character design, and settings.
