The 2024 NHK taiga drama `` Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e)'' starring Yuriko Yoshitaka (general, Sundays at 8 p.m., etc.). Set in the aristocratic society of the mid-Heian period, the film depicts the life of Murasaki Shikibu (named Mahiro in the play), who wrote ``The Tale of Genji,'' said to be the world's oldest piece of women's literature.
