It has been revealed that a completely new full-length animated feature film version of the stop-motion animation "Pui Pui Molcar" featuring characters made of wool felt, Molcar, will be produced and released in 2024.

The movie version is a CG animation directed by Mankyu, who has worked on "Sumikko Gurashi The Movie - The Pop-up Book and the Secret Child". Yuko Kakihara, who is known for the ``Chihayafuru'' series, will be writing the screenplay. Tomoki Misato, who worked on the original idea and directed the first season of the TV series, will participate as general supervisor.
